Fairfax, VA - The Edelman Financial Center, Inc. was a state winner of the 2000 Blue Chip Enterprise Award. The annual award program, co-sponsored by the United States Chamber of Commerce and MassMutal, recognizes entrepreneurs nationwide for succeeding in the face of serious challenges and adversity.
Since 1990, the program has recognized nearly 2,000 successful small businesses that have demonstrated the ability to withstand the cyclical nature of business, overcome adversity, seize opportunities and succeed. "Over the last decade, the Blue Chip Award has emerged as a symbol of inspiration, dedication, resourcefulness and perseverance for the nation's small business community. The Chamber is proud to be a co-sponsor of this important recognition program," said Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue.
