Edelman Financial Opens Six Offices in New York and North Jersey
Firm has just been ranked No. 1 in the nation by Barron’s
FAIRFAX, Va., Sept. 8 — Edelman Financial Services LLC, the nationally recognized investment management firm headed by renowned financial advisor, author and talk show host Ric Edelman, today announced the opening of six new offices to serve the residents of New York and North Jersey.
“Investors and consumers need help more than ever, and there are too few opportunities for them to get the independent, objective advice they need,” said Edelman, recently ranked the nation’s No. 1 independent financial advisor by Barron’s. “Over the past two years, we have received thousands of phone calls and e-mails from people seeking help from throughout the New York metro area, and I am pleased to be able to respond to their needs.”
With offices in Maryland and Virginia, Edelman Financial manages nearly $4 billion for more than 11,000 clients across the country.
Ric Edelman has been providing financial advice to consumers for almost 25 years. His nationally syndicated radio program, The Ric Edelman Show, airs Sundays from 10 a.m. to noon on 77WABC Radio. He is also a sought after speaker and TV personality and best-selling author of seven books -- including the personal finance classic, The Truth About Money, and his newest best-seller, Rescue Your Money. Edelman’s popular Web site is RicEdelman.com.
The New York offices are in Manhattan, Staten Island, Garden City and White Plains, and the New Jersey offices are in Saddle Brook and Short Hills. Each office can be reached at 888-PLAN-RIC.
